The Fields We Know Best
MIT offers investments through various structures including private placements, limited partnerships, tax shelters, mutual funds, exchange traded funds and hedge funds. In addition, at MIT we assist clients through our mergers and acquisitions and investment banking arms. MIT works with institutions, institutional investors, other broker dealers and accredited investors. At MIT we celebrate diversity and the entrepreneurial spirit and like nothing more than helping the companies and investors we work with flourish. As we look at the breakdown of our business it historically and currently falls into seven broad categories.
MIT has built a large database of Institutions, Endowments, Family Offices and RIA’s that provide private equity and retail fund sponsors access to capital. Our team of wholesale distribution representatives are industry agnostic and deliver the experience and expertise sponsors need to find appropriate investors.
Real estate is one of the most diverse investment opportunities a company like MIT can work with on a regular basis. At MIT we work with a selected combination of developers, property managers, fund managers, equity investors and lenders including public and private financing, direct investment and investment through private real estate funds. Additionally, we work with a select group of real estate sponsors offering accredited investors the opportunity to participate in 1031 exchange investments through DST and single member LLC investments.
At MIT, we enjoy the opportunity to work with growing companies with developed products seeking either an exit through acquisition, or growth and expansion through merger. We pride ourselves with a broad platform that allows us to make strategic introductions to accomplish successful merger or acquisition transactions.
While many MIT introduced companies fall under the umbrella of Private Equity or Debt, we seek funds, generally organized as family office, institutional limited partnerships, corporations or funds, that invest in what we believe are stable private companies experiencing strong growth. This also can extend to companies seeking turn around or restructure capital that possess products or services with capable upside.
